The public transport port of regional significance ‘Silistra - Polaris – 8’  is located on the 378th kilometre of the Danube, in the western industrial zone of The Town  of Silistra.
It has 400 m. fortified quay wall equipped with rail crane track  on which there  are 2 pcs. of 20 t. and 1 pcs. of  10 t. of  gantry cranes; The Company  has two  cargo handling areas.

• Cargo Handling Area 1 - for handling general and bulk cargos, equipped with a pontoon for a stay of self-propelled ships;
• Cargo Handling Area 2  - for handling general and bulk cargo;
